Last evening a wedding of Interest
in social circles was celebrated at the Arlington hotel, 'in the apartments of
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Iliff. The groom
was their son, Mr. Lewis E. Iliff, and
the bride Miss Zelica M. Van Tassell, of Indianapolis. Rev. I. M. Hughes,
pastor emeritus, of the First Presbyterian church, performed the ceremony in the presence of the Iliff fam
ily. Mr. and Mrs. Iliff left last evening for a short wedding trip and upon their return will be at home to their many friends in this city. Mr. Iliff is one of the most prominent business men of the city. He is past exalted ruler of the Richmond lodge of Elks. His many friends are glad to extend most hearty congratulations. MARRIED LAST EVENING. The wedding of Mr. Edward Price and Miss Mildred Marlatt, daughter of Mr. Reece Marlatt was quietly celebrated last evening at five o'clock at the home of Mrs. Clark in North Seventh street. The parlor where the ceremony was performed by the Rev. S. R. Lyons, was beautifully embellished with palms and ferns. The bride wore a pretty tailored suit. Immediately after the ceremony, an elegant dinner in several courses was served. Mr. and Mrs. Price left for an extended trip through the south. O., and Mist Mary Alice White will be married in the evening of the same day in the East Main Street Friends church.
