WIDDINQ OF INTEREST. Tb following account ot a wedding celebrated In Indianapolis It of local Interest as several persons from this cltr attended. Mr. Fred Johnson was best man. The clipping Is from the Indianapolis Newa. The marriage .of the Rev. William Heilman. rector ot St. James Episcopal church at New Castle, to Mrs. Pearl Manley Carroll, daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. William P. Manler of Dublin, took place this mortal ng at 11 o'clock at Christ church, the Rev. James D. Stanley officiating. The ceremony was followed by the celebration of the communion. Mr. Stanley's son assisting as celebrant. Previous to the marriage, Alfred Grindle, cathedral organist, ot England, now ot this city, played a program of bridal music, which was followed by the march from "Lohengrin" as the bridal party entered. The attendants were Mrs. Ruth Manley Thornburgh of Dublin, a sister of the bride, who was the matron of honor, and Mr. Frederick Bates Johnson of this city, the best man. The bride wore an Imported gown of white silk radium trimmed with Irish point lace and wore a crown of whltet flowers. She carried a prayerbook. She also wore a peari oroocn, a gift from the bridegroom's aunt, Mrs. Annie Fellows Johnston of Louisville, the author of the "Little Colonel" stories. Mrs. Thornburgh wore a lemon-color satin meteor gown, trimmed with Irish point lace, and wore a crown of yellow flowersv Following the ceremony and communion service a wedding breakfast of twenty-fly covers was served at the hotel English. The table was decorated with a basket of pink roses. Mr. and Mrs; Heilman left this afternoon for Mr. Ilellman's former home In Evansvllle. where his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Phillip Heilman will give a large reception for them. Later they will return to their home in New Castle. Among the guests who came for the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Heilman of Evansvllle, the parents of the bridegroom: Misses Helen and Rose Heilman, hla sisters, and Mrs. H. E. Bason his aunt, who was the promoter of the housing bill In the last legislature; Mr. and Mrs. Elbert 8. Griffin of El wood; Miss Merle Weeks of Ran Antonio; Miss Mary Krlvel and Miss Kdna Johnson of Richmond. Ind.; Mrs. Maude Roots of Conner vl lie, and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mullens of Balem, O. Among the gifts was a handsome carving set from the clergy of Indianapolis. Mr. Heilman Is the grand pretor of the Sigma Chi of Indiana and Mr. Johnson, the best man. is a member of the fraternity. jt js j TO ATTEND PARTY. A large chorus has been organized to sing at the Tearly Meeting to be held. this week at the East Main Street Friends' Church. Billheimer and Miss Rebecca Mi-Parker were quietly married Saturday afternoon at two o'clock by the Rev. Thomas McNary, in the Second Presbyterian church parsonage. Only the relatives witnessed the ceremony. The bride and groom were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Parker. The young people will reside in this city. Members of the Kappa Alpha Phi Fraternity will give a dancing party in the Odd Fellows' Hall. The dance was postponed from last week.
