ESTIMATED LOSS $2,500 Fire of unknown origin totally destroyed the Mustine saw mill at Foote and Center streets In Cambridge City early this morning. The loss la over $2,500 with no insurance. The fire had gained great headway when dis? covered by the crew of a "dinkey" engine on the Big Four. The volunteer fire department made no attempt to save the saw mill but confined its attention . to the surrounding buildingsA large crowd was attracted to the scene of the conflagration, which was the most spectacular seen in Cambridge since the destruction of the old Pennsylvania station several years ago. It is believed to have been smouldering many hours before being detected. James Mustine has owned the mill more than twenty-five years. It has been operating with full force during the summer and the destruction of the mill will throw many men out of work.
