MEEK CASE REPORT No Trace of Asiatic Cholera Found by State Bacteriologists. Greatly relieved were the friends and physicians of the late Harry C. Meek, superintendent of the county infirmary, ho died on Wednesday, at the report of the state board oi health yesterday that the state bacteriologists were unable to discover any germs of Asiatic cholera. On February 5th, 1 90S, Joe Mikulec left his home in Austria on a walking trip that required him to go into the capital of ev ery country in the world. Six years of actual walking, time'was allowed him and $10,000 was to be his prize if he won. His journeys have led him : through Europe, through Africa; through South America and now he is completing his walk through the United States during which he has been in the capitol of every state save one. He has walked in all, 22,000 miles. Early in the week hs was in Indianapolis1 and there he put on his 45th pair of shoes. They were custom made, were ship ped to him from Philadel phia and cost him $0.
