GOES TO MICHIGAN CITY AND DRUDY IS GLAD BECAUSE HE THINKS JEFFERSON VI LLE MUST BE "HOT AS H L" REVOLTING CA8E. "I wanted to get rid of him and thought this a good way to do it," testified Mrs. Thomas Drudy this morn ing In the circuit court, and her desire was gratified Thomas, her. faith less and indiscreet husband being given from two to fourteen rears In the prison North. Thomas was convicted of criminal assault on the person of eleven-year-old Edith Burden. And Thomas shifted the eight-ounce cud of polar bear, Which had nestled I between yellowed teeth and cheek durj lng the trial, and nonchalantly remarkjed: "Glad it's prison north, it must I be hot as H at the prison south." Drudy will leave with his legal valet for the lake shore the first of the week as Sheriff Meredith says Tom's shirt must be washed before they start. Mrs. Drudy testified that she saw Thomas on their bed asleep; that the little colored girl had her hand in his pocket for purposes of robbery. Mrs. Drudy told the court In a quasi-confident way that the sight did make her a bit piqued. In fact she was just angry enough that she whacked Tom over the head "five or six times with a club" before that Individual could be made to appreciate the fact that she was there and chastising him. "I'm in love with another man," coyly admitted Mrs. Thomas Drudy. - TWO DIED Hi BLAZE (American News Service) -New York, July 21.
