The Wlreman's formerly resided In North Sixth street. jg jl FOR A VACATION. Where shall I spend my vacation? This Is the question which a number of persons are pondering oyer this month. Of course if one has a sufficient amount of means this question Is easily settled. But to the office girl and a horde of others' who are working on a small salary the question Is a little harder to decide. However there is the country which is always a good place to go for rest and recreation. Then camping parties are always in vogue during August and September. For the stay at homes morning parties and such social gayetles would be a change from the regular routine and when one comes to think about It the change is really what one needs after a year's work at the same thing. LAWN SOCIAL. A lawn social will be given this evening at the home of Mrs. Mary Price In North Fifteenth street, by the ladies of the Grace M. K. church. Miss Frewen has been a great social favorite, and with Nellie Post, was recently presented at the Swedish Court, to which they were Invited by' the Duchess of Scania. They are royally entertained and marked attention was paid to them by King Oscar. Later in the summer Mrs. Porterfleld expects to give a house party for her guests. J J J IS A GUEST HERE.
