Some Gossip of the Various Local Lodges
The Odd Fellows' Hall Building Association will give consideration to the proposed sale of the Odd Fellows' block. Eighth and Main streets, at a called meeting next week. All the lodges have not announced at what price they will place their stock on the market.
Twenty-five members of the local lodge. Uniform Rank, Knights of Pythias, will attend the annual encampment of the national organization at Milwaukee, August 1-10. There will be several other Pythlans of the city who will atend the National meeting of the order which is held at the same time as the encampment. There are a number of Important matters to be considered.
At the meeting of Triumph, lodge, Knights of Pythias, last evening, two candidates were given the first rank work. After the third rank has been given It is probable that work will be discontinued for the summer. The lodge will hold its annual picnic in
the near future, but all arrangements
have not been completed.'
Frank Klnert and J. C. Fulton were given the first degree of Whitewater lodge. Odd Fellows, last evening. The
other degrees probably will be given
to them in the next two weeks. The three elective officers of the lodge. Including Gus M. Eggemeyer, noble grand. Dr. R. Aw Chattln, vice grand, and Laurence Handley, secretary, were Installed last evening by installing officer, Demas S. Coe. '

on Tuesday, July 12.
Webb lodge of Masons will confer the Entered Apprentice degree on two candidates on Wednesday evening.'
The Entre Nous club will hold its annual outing at Swallow's on July y and 10. The members will camp out over Saturday night. The event promises to be the biggest ever given by the club.
The vacation period for many of the secret Orders will commence as soon as all woVk which is now planned for is finished, f There promises to be little doing in the last two weeks of July and in August The work will be resumed in September, and as usual active campaigns for membership will be made.
Another large class will be initiated into the Loyal Order of Moose during the month. ' The lodge now is almost as large as any one lodge in the city, having a membership close to 375.

The Warriors degree was given to six candidates at the meeting of the Hokendauqua lodge of Red Men last evening. This lodge has been making

Arrangements for the annual log rolling of Indiana Modern Woodmen will be made by the local executive committee soon. The log rolling is to be held here at the time of theFall Festival. Visiting members of the order to the number of a thousand or more are expected to attend.
