"The Eagle and the Girl." The Eagle and the Girl is without
doubt the best novelty attraction the Murray has ever had. Dainty Miss Ry
an is about the cutest person you ever saw, she Is vivacious, has a remarkable control of the facial muscles, her songs are well received and when she starts singing "Won't You Come and Ply With Me" the huge Eagle descends and seizes her in its talons and soars out into the house over the heads of the audience, the whole appearance has a most startling effect upon the audience. At one time the eagle is high, at another time so close to the audience that she can almost be reached by extending the hand and druing all this time she is singing her song, not at all startled but apparently enjoying the unique position. The remainder of the bill is in keeping with this sensational headllner and consists of Miss Shields and company, Faustus, and the Black Brothers in addition to a comedy shown by the motion pictures. The mysterious FauBtus has. a number of -feats that are spectacular, surprising and amazing. The disappearance of the woman assistant, the scattering of real carnations and roses as well as other tricks are superb. Miss Shields and company are presenting an interesting comedy that should make the average American more patriotic. The Black Brothers with music of hand and feet have become popular from their first appearance.
MEETING OF MASONS
(Palladium Special) Hagerstown, Ind., June 16. Hagerstown was alive with Masons Wednesday afternoon and evening. Degree work commenced at 1 p. m., when five candidates were initiated into the order. A banquet was served at ti oVlock in the I. O. O. F. hall, during which the Teetor orchestra furnished

A HUNT FOB HEALTH
Couple Walking From Kansas City to New York Decide on This Cure.
IS EVIDENTLY A SUCCESS
"Walking from Kansas City to New York is the device on a wagon which accompanies the latest pair of freak pedestrians through this section of the country. D. H. Woolf and his buxom wife of 20O pounds will reach Richmond from Indianapolis in a day or two, according to their schedule, and after a brief rest will move further toward the lights of Broadway. According to Indianapolis papers the couple began the trip to recover their health, and they seem to have succeeded. The wagon is used to carry their supplies, for they never ride. Both are dressed in khaki from head to foot and declare the experience is well worth while. After visiting cities in the east during the summer they
expect to return to Missouri by way of Chieago. Mrs. Woolf says she formerly attended Earlham college about tea years ago. .. ' .

If, as some one has said, "Silence is the most effective eloquence," then we have only to study the picture of this broad seat chair to fully grasp the deeper meaning of the words. Nothing we can say in cold type will emphasize its attractiveness. One should see it and put its many virtues to the simple test of practical use.
OBSERVE ITS GENEROUS LINES FOR ONE'S GREATER COHORT
The chair measures thirty-seven inches in height, back is twenty-four inches high from seat, outside width is twenty-eight inches. Luxurious comfort is certainly assured by comparing these dimensions with those of the ordinary "Rocker." The quartered oak is beautifully grained and the loose seat of Spanish Morocco Goat Leather with double-deck spring cushion, is practically wear-proof.
