Wilsoni ' who waiT injured in the .football game between Villanova. and the navy last fall died at 5:30 o'clock this morning. He had been sinking1 for a week.' Yesterday' his condition became, so serious, that no hope of his. recovery was held out. Wilson's home was in .Covington, Ky., and be was one of the best pupils and all-around athletes in (the academy.He was a member of the football, baseball, gymnastic' and other athletic teams. In the Villauova game on October 16 he received .a terrible spinal injury, stopping a mass rush. When he was picked up he was found to be totally, "paralyzed ' and for" the first few days after the game his: death was momentarily expected. -- Early in November the surgeons at the naval academy performed a delicate operation,' removing the covering pf four of the cervical .vertebrae and relieving the pressure on the spinal cord.
