Mrs. Emaline Cole,' Mrs. Alice Fraiser, Mrs. Jennie Gardner and son Floyd and Master HarryL Lacey went to Richmond this Thursday morning. Anuel Edwards, Charley Harris, Mrs. Lydia Burnett, Sumner Beard and Mrs. Walter Gwin, who have been very sick the past several weeks, are now in a fair way to recovery. Where are the pretty Bob Whites? None are heard in this part of Wayne county. It is feared tht they perished during the big snow that came soon after the holidays. Anyway, none has been seen or heard since then, therefore it is quite evident that the quail crop .in this part of Indiana will be short this year.

Improvement Resolution No. 215-1910. Providing .7 for the Improvement of Elm Place, from North 8th' street to North 9th street, by constructing cement gutter strip and cement walk 10 feet in width on the north side thereof; ' .- ; All work done in the making of said described public Improvements, shall : be in accordance with the terms and conditions pf the Improvement Reso lutlons, as numbered, and the detail -plans, profiles, drswings and speclfications which . are on file and may be seen in the office of said Board ot Public Works of the City of Richmond. "-'. - The bidders, in submitting proposals to make said described public improvements, must accompany each bid with a certified check in the sum of $100.00, as evidence of good faith that the successful bidders will execute, within ten days from the acceptance ot proposals, contracts and bonds satisfactory to the said Board to do the work of making said Improvements. A failure of the successful bidders to enter - Into such con tracts and bonds upon the acceptance of such proposals will forfeit tho checks and the sums of money payable thereon to the city as agreed and liquidated damages for such failure.
