A NEW DEDICATION DATE
CELEBRATION OF THE OPENING OF NATIONAL AUTOMATIC TOOL WORKS BUILDING WILL SB ABOUT MAY 1. Owing to the necessity of removing about sixty square feet of the cement flooring, on the second floor of the new factory building. In Beallview, for the Automatic Tool Works, the date of the dedication has been set forward and the event will probably be held on May 1. It was anticipated by officers of the South Side Improvement Association, which organisation Is entitled to the credit for securing the factory, to hold the Jollification on April 1. The construction work was dona during the winter and although heaters were used, a large portion of the cement on the second floor was frosen. consequently making the floor unsafe. The contractor had to tear this part of the work entirely out and Is now engaged In relaying It It Is believed that a month's work remains to be done before the building will bt ready for occupancy. The officials of the factory, which la now located In Dayton, and the oOctn of the Improvement association are very much disappointed at the delay a When the contract for the construction work was let. It was hoped t have the factory occupied by Decern-' ber 7. The cold weather Interferred with the plans and during a create! portion of the winter, nothing at all was done on the building for thli season.
