We have always done business on a smaller margin of profit than any dealer here ever dared to before. Take 20 per cent, off our goods and there remains but little more than actual cost. A cut of 20 per cent means more to us than a cut of 40 and 50 per cent means in many lines. Yet in spite of the fact that a 20 per cent cut leaves us no profit, we are making reductions as high as 50 per cent, and but a very few of our reductions are less than 15 per cent.
