EQUALITY PRESIDENT WILL BE A CITIZEN Mrs. Harriet Stanton Blatch, president of the Equity league for Self Supporting Women, who has taken out her first naturalization papers because her husband is an Englishman and a nonvoter. The court decided she was entitled to make an application for citizenship, much to the joy of the suffragetts. Mrs. Blatch wants to become eligible to vote when suffrage has become a fact. GIVE UPJESTIVAL First Presbyterian Sunday School to Have No Xmas Event. OTHER PLANS WERE MADE The Monthly Teachers meeting of the First Presbyterian church was entertained last evening by the superintendent, Raymond B. Nicholson, at his home on East Main street. It was decided at the meeting to abandon the regular Christmas Festival during the holidays and to celebrate the day on Sunday. December 20, with appropriate exercises. A Sunday school entertainment for the parents and children will be given about the middle of January. Christmas gifts for the poor will be brought as usual to the schooL Arrangements were made last evening to redecorate the primary room of the Sunday school and several changes will be made that the little children may have more inviting quarters. It was also decided to introduce the graded lessons in the school. A committee was appointed to put the Men's Bible class work under the supervision of Prof. Miller.
