Karl Odell and wife, of Muncie, as al so by other relatives, and taken di
rectly to the M. R. church, where it was left until the funeral, as was the request of the deceased. The funeral services were held at two p. m. The
Rev. CV H. Pinnlck pastor of the church

f ng remarks, and prayer was offered by the Rev. F. A. Scott, pastor of the Christian church. The Odd Fellows of Milton lodge, No. 11, took charge of the services and the ceremonies were conducted by Brother W, L. Parkins, In a beautiful manner. At the close of the services at the church friends
and relatives went to West Side cem
etery, where the- interment was held and the concluding ceremonies of the order held. The relatives attending the funeral were the daughter, Mrs. Lavinia Odell of Indianapolis; the son, Ira Armstrong of Columbus, Ohio; the grandchildren, Messrs and Mesdames Benj Collins, of Chicago, Karl Odell, of Muncie; the brother, Elam Armstrong of Waldron; the sisters, Mrs. Martha Barefoot, of Columbia, Pa.; Barbara Barefoot, of Cambridge City and Mrs. J. tric Irritation from Undigested Food in the Stomach. No kind of dyspepsia is better marked than that known as "painful indi
gestion," and It is also a very common affection. Pain, generally of a dull i character, Is felt after meals and along I
with the pain, soreness at the pit of the Btomach often exists, and in some cases the soreness is permanent The tenderness is commonly restricted to a spot in the middle line of the body, immediately below the breast-bone. It often extends upward under the bone, which consequently feels sore on pressure, or the tenderness is felt toward either side. This tenderness is commonly associated with an unpleasant feeling of heat "a burning sensation" as it is termed by some persons. There is also a "gnawing" and "dragging," as well as various other anomalous sensations complained of after taking food, and generally within an hour after eating. As might be supposed the intensity of the symptom is proportionate to the quantity and quality of the meal. When the stomach is empty, a sensation of craving or emptiness gives most trouble. This often causes a false appetite, which, by inducing the person to eat heartily, aggravates the sufferings. Thirst generally causes much annoyance; heartburn, water-brash, acidity, nausea, and headache are not infrequent attendants. The tongue i3 usually coated and from a mere inspection of this organ the condition of the stomach can often be correctly told. It is a common error with persons who suffer from stomach pain caused by indigestion and gastric irritation, to use such drugs as chlorodyne, Hoffman's Anodyne, and other "pain killers" for its relief. Such treatment is a great mistake. While these drugs afford temporary relief to the dyspeptic pain, they have no effect whatever in removing the cause. STUART'S ' DYSPEPSIA TABLETS remove the cause. By completely digesting all the food in the stomach, there is no further possibility of the occurrence of this disgreeable form of dyspepsia with its painful manifestations, and other concurrent symptoms. All of the Irritation of the stomach- lining and Btomach nerves as the result of the undigested food lying in that organ and undergoing fermentation and decomposition, Is quickly done away with. v But not only is the form of dyspepsia which is accompanied by pain cured through the use of these digestive tablets, but also every other form of indigestion, as there are many kinds in which stomach pain does not occur, but where there are many symptoms equally disagreeable, discomforting, disconcerting and discouraging. Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets contain, In a highly concentrated form, powerful anti-dyBpepttc Ingredients,: which digest rapidly and thoroughly food of every kind, including proteids, nitrates, carbo-hydrates, etc. A single grain will disintegrate and digest 3,000 grains of food. " : Purchase a box from your druggist at once (price 50 cents), and get rid of the pain, discomfort and other disagreeable symptoms of dyspepsia. Also send us your name and address for. frea sample package. Address F. A. Stuart Co., 150 Stuart Bldg., Marshall, Mich.

Relatives of Frank Ballinger. formerly of Economy, who went to the southwest and was reported to have been murdered and his body thrown in quick sand, have heard nothing additional to the original story published. Persistence of a Count Wins For Him Chicago Girl as Wife
Chicago, Oct. 15. The romantic story of how Miss Irma Kilgallen, daughter of M. H. Kilgallen, 3230 Micigan avenue, and a typical Chicago girl, became a countess by marriage to Count Mourlk de Beauford, was told yesterday for the first time by Count Beauford in an interview with a reporter for The Inter Ocean. "Was It a romance?" echoed the Count in reply to a query. ' "Well, it was Indeed quite an extra ordinary affair, I assure you." After a few puffs on a Turkish cigarette, which he had lighted after first holding the match for a cigarette he had tendered the reporter, he resumed: "And I don't mind telling you about it, if you want to know. She is just about the dearest little girl man ever beheld. It was five years ago that I saw her for the first time. Follows Her to Hotel. X"A friend and myself were strolling throgh some fields in a country place about twenty miles from London. Miss Kilgallen came galloping past on a spirited horse. She leaped a fence, brought her horse around and darted off again with a grace and skill that dumfounded me. "I never thought such a beautiful girl existed outside of story books. I ran after the horse and tried to find

Wayne County's Product This!
Year Is of Very Fine Quality.
WEATHERED RAINS WELL
Corn is being harvested by Wayne county now and within the next few
days large quantities of it will be brought to the local markets. The
corn is of fine quality this year. The heavy rains and strong winds of the early summer, which it was thought would have such a direful effect on the crop and play havoc with the outlook for this season, apparently did not harm the corn in the least, as the golden ears on many of the stalks are larger than ever before. However, the corn Is about fifteen to thirty days late this falL There Is no special cause for this, it Is said, except that the season Just happens to be a late one. Last year corn was received in this city during the middle and latter part of September.

I then wrote letters to some of my friends in America. She soon went to Paris. I followed her there. For several weeks she staid in Paris and still there was no opportunity for an introduction. "At last a letter came from a man who knew her father. He gave me a letter of introduction, but Miss Kilgallen had gone to Geneva. I followed her there and with the letter called on her at the hotel. " 'Hello. she said in her easy American manner, and shook hands with me. I am afraid I acted kind of foolish, but it was not long before I told her how persistently I had been trying to get that hard earned introduction. Will Take Western Trip. "Later, in the Shamrock tea room in
London, I asked her the eventful question. "A curious coincidence happened in that tea room. About a month later we happened in there again and were sitting at the very table that we shall remember so long, when we picked up a small card. 'One wedding ring,' it said and on the bottom was the trade mark of Tiffany, New York. We never found out bow that card came there but we have kept it as a memento of our happiness." After a honeymoon trip West the Count and Countess will return to the count's ancestral home late in the winter season.

Now as to quality of tone, and the construction of the interior for efficiency and durability, there can be no argument; all we ask is for you to come and test them, or ask the parties to whom we have sold these instruments. Remember the season of the year is now here when a very large per cent of the Pianos are sold for the year, and if you are ready, we will be at your service any time you call.
