A CLOSE SHAVE. ;
Many of Them Happening Every Day but Soon Forgotten. Close shaves would be of more fre quent occurrence but for the tender faces of many men. which will not permit of shaving often. Heretofore, nothing has been said in these columns about poslam, a new skin discovery, in connection with its use after shaving, lis publicity and sales have been confined almost exclusively to its remarkable properties" as an eczema cure; It stops the itching at once and cures the worst cases in. a few days. While the application of poslam after shaving is one of its minor uses, such as for pimples, the complexion, etc. shavers will find it a revelation, as it docs for abraslbns, roughness, and severe scrapings what it does for all manner of skin difficulties heals and cures in a few hours. It is the only article possessing real antiseptic and curative value that hs ever teen exploited for this purpose, and wiil soothe and tone up the skin ac no toilet preparation could possibly do. Poslam can be had for fifty cents at any reliable druggist's, . particularly W. H. Sudhoff. who make a specialty of it. Or the Emergency Laboratories, No. 32 West 26th Street. New York City, will send a trial supply free by mail tc any one who will write for it. This i3 sufficient to show' results in 24 hours. In Halmstad Sweden,Pontas Holmstrom is about to start a spinning mill for making yarn out of paper. Such mills already exist in Germany and France. So far, the manufacture of rugs and carpets seems to be the beet practical use of this new paper yarn It is stated that people in Sweden. especially In the province of Ostergotland, are already making carpets with paper welt. Narrow rolls or paper tape are used, but this, of course, is not spun.
