FOUND Boys' cap wrapped in Fox's LIKES LOUD SHIRTS Ladies Think Taft Is Careless n His Dress When Golfing. PRESIDENT IS INDIFFERENT (American News Service) Beverly, Mass., Aug. 2S. The ladies who play golf at Myopia and Essex would like to know who selects outing shirts for President Taft On the veranda at the Myopia club house thi3 question was discussed, and the fe male opinion was that he selects them himself, but uses poor taste. President Taft does not wear a coat when he plays golf. Therefore he appears in the glos3 of a colored outing shirt and the colors do not always harmonize with the landscape. "Men have such poor taste," said a well known society woman as she looked after the chief magistrate, who was endeavoring to make a forty-foot put on a nearby green. "Now, there is no use denying that the president is stout, not to say fat Therefore he should be careful to select styles and colors in shirtings which would minimize and not exaggerate his stoutness. "Can you imagine a stout woman coming out upon a green lawn with a bright pink waist. Of course, you don't But there is the president of the United States, who is supposed to know almost everything and be is perfectly unconscious that he Is making himself ridiculous. The president was attired in a shirt with a wide pink stripe in it. He is interested in making a record over the Myopia course than in how he looks. Self Possessed Young Woman Geoffrey, you have been coming to see me for more than a year. Dent yon think ffs time to ten me what your Intentions are? Bashful Youth Why, Miriam.
