Seven more deaths and thirty prostrations, due to the hot wave which continued today were reported by the police of New York and vicinity. Suffering through out the city was intense and the hospitals were filled with victims, many of whom were in such a serious condition that their recovery was doubtList of Victims. Following is a list of the persons for whose deaths the heat Is held responsible: Mrs. Ida Jackson, jumped to death from the roof of her home. 106 East Eighty-eighth street, when crazed by the heat. Instantly killed. . George Anderson, two years old, accidentally dropped by mother from .window of her home, 156 Twelfth street, Brooklyn. Mrs. Anderson was holding the baby out of the window for a breath of fresh air. Died instantly V ' Theresa Teritalo, forty-five years old, of 157 Thompson street, died of heat at her home, t Amelia Dambarto, three months old; died from heat at residence of parents. : 4 Nlcnolog Bantice, at Irvington; overcome, fell from runway while working in coal storage yard. Fractured skull resulted in death. Daniel Griffin, 49 Essex street, Newark; prostrated and died before reaching Neward hospital. Jeremiah Donovan, 651 Franklin avenue, Brooklyn ; overcome by heat while working on temporary bridge in Long Island City and fell to death. As on previous nights, thousands upon thousands flocked to the seashore and spent the night on the sand. The beach of Island proved the most popular and the . sand was black with men, . women and children. The police reserves patrolled the beach all night to guard the sleepers. The membership of the Friends church have completed the renovating of the meeting house. A new cabinet organ has been pur chased to take the place of the old one. A handsome new carpet has been put down. Chairs for the use of the small Sunday school classes are a marked addition to the furnishing of the church.
