Tracy, colored aged 40 years died at his home, 420 South Ninth street tills morning from complication of diseases. He had been employed at the Pennsyl vania depot for nine years and was one of the best known colored men of the city. He is survived by bis wife, Mrs. Laura B. Tracy, two .brothers, and bis aged mother. He was a mem ber of the Quinn lodge of Masons. Funeral arrangements will be given later. Wanted to Se Them. SOME ARE POORLY KEPT OFFICIALS WANT MANURE BOXES SCREENED TO EXCLUDE FLIES, WHICH ARE REGARDED AS DISEASE SPREADERS. Owing to the press of other duties. Sanitary Inspector George Young has not been able to Investigate conditions at some of the livery stables In this city, and especially those In the busi ness district. Mr. Young stated this morning that just as soon as he pos sibly could, he would start his anneal campaign on the livery stables. In the past there has been much complaint entered owing to the odor and the failure of the owners of llv ery stables to cart off the manure oft en enough. In some cases manure Is thrown along side the box. Breeding Place of Flies, Health authorities of the city state that all manure boxes, whether at liv ery stables or not, should be closed with a fine mesh netting so as to ex elude, flies and other animal life. All flowering shrubs and bashes need several weeks of warm weather be fore they will be in blossom. The school children will be asked to gather the flowers this year, the earn as they have in the past and deliver them to the school buildings- The flowers will be gathered by the decor, sting committee early Memorial day morning aad placed on the graves of the departed soldiers aad sailors.
