Geo. - Barr McCutcheon, the most prolific writer of fiction of a decade, is the "responsible party , for the conception of Graustark, which has proven the greatest success imaginable. His beautiful story of an American's love for a princess of the royal blood,, has been most exquisitely dramatized. Ttie main thought when placing Graustark" in play form, was the absolute fidelity tn closely following Mr. McCutcheon's book. The story of love and romance unravels Itself from beginning to end in a manner most pleasing ana delightful to the audience. ' The pretty locale of the book is strictly adhered to, all the scenes taking place in the mythical principality of Granstark. one of the old world domains. So well has the play been received everywhere. It has been found necessary to equip three complete organizations of equal strength j to fin the dram alio time called for by theatrical managers all over the country. What with a play that is far above the average and with a scenic display more than pleasing and acceptable to the theatergoing public, the company presenting the piece is one of the best ever aent on the road and -embraces the services of some of the best known of the younger generation of actors and actresses, all well fitted and carefully selected for the particular parts' they , are creating.
