The Palladium correspondent received a' card Saturday from Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Williams, who have been guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Macy of Pittsburg, stating they were leaving the "Smoky City" for a trip through Ohio. Miss Lela Lamb has returned home after a two days' visit with her grandmother. Deck Haxton arrived home Saturday evening to spend Sunday here with his family. Mrs. Alice Frasier is back from a visit with Richmond relatives. Mrs. Peggy Morrison is reported not so well today. Charles Clyde and Bennle Franklin attended the M. E. church Sunday. Charles Edwards is doing some very fine photography post card work. Pleasant Mendenhall who has been such a sufferer with rheumatism for the past several years is growing worse and cannot live but a few days longer. Reynolds of Hagerstown and Attorney Will Bond of Richmond will address the voters of Perry township , on local option Tuesday night here, in the M. E. church. Harry Macy, who is on the jury arrived home Sunday and returned to Richmond Tuesday to report for duty. Bennie Franklin who has had such a deep cold for a week will be able to attend school this week. Mrs. Ruth Chamness is reported very sick and It is feared pneumonia has set in. A Mr. Shelleybarger has rented Olie Weyl's farm and bought the stock also. Mrs. Alice Frasier was the Sunday afternoon guest of Mrs. Byram Pierce. If the weather continues favorable there will have been many acres of ground plowed by Saturday evening. Mrs. Glennie Lamb was in Richmond Monday, shopping. ' Mrs. Mary Weddell received word Saturday that her cousin Mrs. Uary Lawrence of Richmond 'had died from paralysis and funeral held Monday afternoon.
