Constipation Caused By Indigestion

Is Curea By Helping the Stomach Do Its Work As It Should. All forms of constipation, bowel or Intestinal trouble owe most of their origin to the improper digestion of foo;i. The bowels measure 30 feet. The"' inside walls - or surfaces are wound tightly about with millions of

nerves. These nerves give life and control millions of little mouths or suckers which are supposed to take nourishment " from the food as it leaves the stomach and passes along this 30-foot human canal. When indigestion, dyspepsia or stomach trouble occurs, the food being undigested, passes over these millions of mouths, it is a fermented decaying mass and holds no nourishment as it should. - The little mouths suck it up, impart these impurities to the blood, impregnate the littlenerves with poison and so the work of constipation and bowel trouble begins. A natural juice or secretion belongs normally in the little cells and glands along the mucous membrane of the SO-foot canal or bowel. When indigestion occurs this juice is lacking and so the mass of waste .matter cannot pass along as it should and is piled up and caked in the bowel thus bringing pain and misery. After a while the nerves and nerve centers which give vigor and life to the bowel become paralyzed, thus forever prohibiting the bowel from performing its natural duties. Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets, when taken after meals, digests the food properly even though the stomach is Kick and It passes to the bowels nourishment and juices, which help the intestines not only to do their work at once, but builds them up, restores vitality to the nerves, brings new secretion to the glands and cells, helps bowel action and enriches the, blood. The stomach is the , cause. Common sense and science are one on this point. You see it yourself. One little grain of Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets will perfectly digest 3,000 grains of food. The assimilation of a meal by one of these tablets is an easy matter and it keeps the stomach clean and sweet so that in a brief time his organ is restored, i Every druggist carries them in itock: price 50c. the same lines as, are laid down by Simon. And most of the members from the counties affected by the Hunyak vote appear to be in favor of some measure of relief. Representative Greiger of Laporte and Porter counties says relief is needed, but that he has not . yet read the Wickey resolution and can not express an opinion as to its desirability. Representaive Miller who represents St. Joseph, Starke ana Pulaski counties says he is in favor of the Wickey resolution. Some of the others from this territory who went home over Sunday had not returned this morning and could not be interviewed, but the fact that democrats and republicans alike seem to be in favor of it. it is believed that the Wickey resolution will be adopted.

CHARGES AGAINST DOCTORS

Palladium Bureau. Indianapolis, Jan. 15. It is expected that the record of the

evidence taken in the Lake county contest case in which Edward W. Simon, democrat, is contesting the seat

of Edward W. Wickey, republican, in the house of representatives because

it is charged that more than 3,000 for

eigners voted illegally in Lake county at the election, is expected to reach Indianapolis from Crown Point within

the next few days and It will then be

submitted, to the house committee on

elections. There seems, however, to

be little hope for the democrats that

the house committee will unseat Wickey. . '.v. ...

Waits on the Record. Simon has been in this city for sev

eral days awaiting the arrival of the

record, and he says that he will go home and stay there as soon as the re

cord has reached the committee.

"The seat in the house for which I

am contesting," said Simon today, "is

the smallest part of the matter. 1 do not particularly care about being seated. What I do desire, however, is some relief for, the counties in" the northern part of the state from the large number of foreign born persons who now vote. The only way in my opinion to provide this relief, is to require that every foreign born person be a naturalized citizea before he is allowed to vote, and then to require

that he live in the state one year before gaining the right to franchise. I hope that when the house has seen the condition in Lake county from an examination of our case the members will see our needs and give us some relief from a situation which is rapidly growing worse. Lake County Deplorable. "Lake county is in a deplorable concondition from this cause. It has grown worse year after year. In St. Joseph county this election the condition was about the same as It was In Lake, county eight years ago. and St. Joseph county is growing worse all the time, too. ' The remarkable feature of the case is that Wickey and Stmon agree that relief is needed. Simon says so In his interview and Wickey has introduced in the house a resolution for an amendment to the constitution along

Des Moines, Iowa, Jan. 18. It is announced that when the state board of health and medical . examiners convenes tomorrow a number of wellknown Iowa physicians will be callfd upon to answer charges of improper practice.

BEST POLITICIAN III UNITED STATES IS THE PRESIDENT (Continued From Page One.)

The New Phillips. If ever a comedy scored a success at the New Phillips theater, that put on by Mr. and Mrs. Danny Mann certainly did this afternoon at the opening of this half-week's program. The theme of the little New England rural play abounds in everyday sentiment the kind that is met with each day in every home. The work of the two is very good and the playlet "Mandy Hawkins" bids fair to become popular during its presentations in Richmond. , Hampson came, up to expectations in his ventriloquist feats and aroused round after round of laughter. He also works in a few other stunts which lend variety to the act. Harry and Kitty Sutton made good with their novelty act and drew their proportion of the applause. Three

received as are all others, friends and foes, with open arms. T. R. Admires Harriman. Nor would Mr. Harriman fare differently. Now these two have quarrelled bitterly, as the public well knows. Their friendship has certainly been put to the "acid test," but Mr. Roosevelt admires ability in railroad management as he does achievement in the senate and that counts in the scale of friendship with him. Senator Tillman hit the nail on the head the other day in the senate when he referred to' Mr. Harriman as "the president's dear friend Harriman." That is, he literally, though unwitingly, spoke the truth, for if the railroad

magnate, no matter how rumpled his feelings at present, only came again to the White House and stood for a moment under the. warm rays of the famous presidential smile there would be no resisting. He, too, would feel this side of the many-sided president
