A WEEK PRAYER Inaugurated Last Evening by Congregation of First English Lutheran.
JOB NOT JUST A DREAM OF LOVE i New Trustee Stumbles Over a Problem Causing Worry.
PROGRAM IS ANNOUNCED
People all over the town are talking about the wonderful good Root Juice is doing in this community, as It has made many remarkable cures during the past few months. A well
lmown lady who for social reasons does not want her name published, said : "I had been in poor health for several years. The doctors gave me
medicine for catarrh of the stomach, gastric ulcers, indigestion, dyspepsia and stomach troubles generally, but I derived no benefit. My appetite was variable sometimes hungry as a wolf, then sickening at the mere thought of food. I was subject to dizzy spells and sick headache. I was thin, weak, despondent and nervous, and had to take some kind of medicine all the time on account of my badly constipated condition. A lady friend told me that she had suffered very much as I did, but that Root Juice had completely cured her, so I concluded to try it, and before I had used the first bottle I was rapidly improving in every way. I continued taking the truly great medicine about six weeks, and if there is anything the matter with me now I don't know it. I now enjoy my food and digest it. I sleep well. I am no longer constipated, weak or nervous, and have plenty of flesh and strength." Such, good reports of the great medicine are being heard all ver town. It is sold for one dollar a tattle or three bottles for two dollars nd a half. Those who are interested can learn of many of the wonderful things it is doing by going to A. G. ; Luken & Co'g drug store.

Charles Harris, the new trustee of
Perry township has inherited one of the kind of propositions that makes the office of trustee somewhat less desirable. It is an afflicted woman, who
is a charge on the township. Physicians have recommended her remov
al to a hospital, where she may under
go an operation. The law governing the trustee's office makes no provision for an emergency of this kind and before taking action Harris want
ed to know if the commissioners would allow such a claim. They will.

FORFEIT A QUEST
Y. M. C. A. Directors Will Hold Important Meeting This Evening at Building. WILL DECIDE ON A PLAN
The question of receiving tfie Young Men's Christian association building and of collecting the forfeiture from the contractors, Caldwell and Drake, will make the meeting of the Y. M. C. A. directors this evening one of the most important ever held. Other matters of a routine, but interesting na
ture will be discussed and will pertain to the management of the association. The directors favor collecting all that is due the association in forfeitures. It amounts to $1,605. The contractors hold the opinion this part of the contract should not be enforced and will fight it. They will be met in a similar manner by the association. It is probable that the committee having in charge the collections will make some report and that a plan will be adopted to collect the forfeit money. The association is about $15,OOO in debt. It is not the intention to make a general canvass.
Ladies' Aid Society of the Reid Memorial Hospital will meet Thursday morning at 9 o'clock with Mrs. E. G. Hill, 2031 Main street. Members are requested to bring thimbles and lunch boxes.

Easy to buy, easy to try, the best, wholesome, appetizing breakfast Is Mrs. Austin's famous pancakes.
"Drink first destroys ambition; breaks up ties of friendship,; it kills and buries love and eventually destroys the family life. Scqpe of the best men in the world have been victims of drink and if there is not some member in your family that is afflicted with this disease, you are indeed fortunate. Drink cunningly destroys the will power, and while the drunkard wants to do-what you tell him, he wants a thousand times more the drink that he craves. Medical treatment is necessary to destroy the craving, and this Orrine will do. It destroys the desire for liquor, so that the drink will not be missed, also cures the deranged digestion, weakened nerves and other ill effects to excessive drinking, restoring the patient to perfect health.
The remedy is absolutely harmless, is thoroughly scientific and is so uniformly successful that it is sold with a registered guarantee entitling you to a refund of your money if Orrine fails to effect a cure. Booklet on "How to Cure Drunkenness. Sent free on request In plain sealed wrapper. The Orrine Co., Washington, D. C. Orrine is in two forms. No. 1 which can be given secretly without the patient's knowledge. No. 2 in pill form for those who wish to be cured. The price of either is $1, mailed on receipt of price in plain sealed package, and both are sold under the guarantee. Orrine is sold by A. G. Luken & Co., Richmond. Ind.
