Whether the Lincoln league of th stale will generally observe the on hundredth anniversary of Lincoln birth will be determined by the committee of the state organization which will niwt at the Claypool hotel. In this city. The calls have been sent out by the secretary. Will H. Adams, of Wabash. There has been considerable discussion as to whether the league should depart from Its custom of meeting biennially, in order to observe the Lincoln centennial. The next regular meeting Is scheduled for February. IS. 1910, and many of the niembera feel that the league should not allow tha anniversary to pass without a fitting observation.
