Meat Shops and Grocery Stores Will Not Keep Open on Sunday.
PUBLIC IS ASKED TO AID.
The West Richmond meat shops and groceries have all agreed to close on Sundays, according to the Rev. David C. Huntington, chairman of the Ministerial Association Sunday Observance committee. He has addressed the following letter to the press: "Besides the others who have pledged themselves to close their places of business next Sunday, by mutual agreement of the meat dealers of West Richmond, no meat will be sold there on Sunday. Besides this, all the places of business in Fairview, groceries as well as meat shops, have decided to discontinue their Sunday business. The names obtained yesterday were, Chas. E. Haller, Eubank & Son, James J. Mulligan, Allen R. Lamb, Carman & Bro., Corson & Tawley and D. Warnpole. This makes a clean sweep of Fairview and West Richmond. "It is expected that every meat dealer in the city will take advantage of this united effort to obtain the rest all need on one day in the seven. BANK AMENDS MILLER COMPLAINT
Case Has Been Before Court More Than a Year.
An amended complaint has been filed In the case of the Bank of Bryan, Ind., vs. George Miller. This case has been before the Wayne clrcutt court for more than a year and never has come to trial. The original complaint required about thirty pages of manuscript.
