TWENTY ADDITIONS TO TWO CHURCHES Revival Meetings Proving - Successful.
The great influence of the revival services that are being conducted at the First English Lutheran church on South Eleventh street and the Third M. E. church on the West Side, is already felt in Richmond, and there have been quite a number of confessions and about twenty additions to the two churches. It is quite probable that before the services conclude Sunday, there will be others taken in by both churches. Large congregations greeted the evangelists, both yesterday afternoon and evening, and the meetings were pronounced a great success. The Bev. Mr. John M. Warden, layman of the church at Harrisburg, Pa., is conducting the services at the First English Lutheran church and i3 one of the best evangelists of the faith. He came to Richmond from Auburn, Ind., where he conducted revival services with great success. The Rev. Shaw, who is conducting theservices at the Third M. E. church, is one of the best evangelists of the church. He has been in the work for the past nine years and is thoroughly acquainted with this work. He is not
only an interesting speaker, but is convincing in his sincerity.
M OFFICERS
ARE ARRESTED
Follows Collision in Which Many Lives Were Lost.
New Orleans, Xov. 13. As .a result of the collision which Wednesday cost eight lives- and the serious wounding of a score of persons at' Little Woods Station, on the New Orleans and Northwestern railroad, two men have been arrested and thorough investigation is being made into the wreck and the delay in sending a relief train. Those arrested are Wayne A. Blackburn and A. B. Keys, engineer and conductor, respectively, of the Great Northern express, which telescoped the local. They were released under $10,000 bail. It was announced that the matter of whether the Great Northern crew or the Northeastern crew was responsible was in doubt, but that Keys and Blackburn's connection with the train which did the
damage compelled their arrest.

-IN-LAW AFTER LINK
Seeks Custody of Comedian's Child.
There are stormy times in the brewing as the result of the smashup of the Billy Link show, which appeared at the Gennett theater in this city recently. Billy surprised his wife writing to her affinity while the show was at Huntington and immediately tied the can to Mrs. Billy. Mrs. Billy's sister was a member of the company and she was told to take her clothes and hike, also. Mrs, Billy was compelled to leave her daughter, who takes one of the prominent juvenile parts, and now Mrs. Link's mother is on Billy's trail trying to secure the custody of the child. Billy says he guesses he can take care of the child without its mother or his mother-in-law.

The regular weekly meeting of the
boys of the Y. M. C. A. was held yes- . terday afternoon in the Commercial S club rooms and was attended by some fifty lads. A musical number was giv-1 en by Benjamin Johnson, after which
Orville Brunson, secretary of the boys' department, gave a very interesting talk on the association emblem. "The emblem consists of a triangle
and the three sides represent spirit, mind and body, which are the three Rhases of the work of the associa- j tion," he said. "The circle which surrounds the triangle, signifies unity. Back of this there are two letters, P and X, which is a Greek monogram of Christ. There is also a bible, 'which is opened to John 17: 21, "That we all may be one." After this short, but interesting talk j by Mr. Brunson, other routine busi-j ness was discussed.
EXPECTS TO MEET LEAVITTJ IN DENVER Bryan's Daughter Talks of Divorce Jabber.
Lincoln, Neb., Nov.' 13. The silence of the Bryan family on the subject of a possible divorce suit by Mrs. Ruth Bryan Leavitt has been broken. Last night to an Inquisitor, Mrs. Leavitt said: "I cannot see just why my private affairs should be of any public concern, but I have no hesitancy in saying that I expect to meet Mr. Leavitt in Denver and in the very near future. Does that look as if I intended to seek a divorce?"
The Remarkable Will 01 A Doctor
Ha Leaves the Secret of Life to His Children And the World. One of the world's greatest physicians .upon his death bed called his children about him and said: "When I die I will leave the secret of life as I have discovered it in my practice." When they read his will it directed them to a safety vault which contained a large envelope marked thus: "The Secret of Life." Upon opening it they read: "Don't abuse the stomach." This profound thinker after a long life of medicine knew the stomach to be the throne of man. Stuart's Dyspepsia Tj.blets will help you make a stomach he althy. If it is worn out and 1 icks the fluids of iigestlon these tablets will take the place of such fluids. If It is filled with poisonous juices, these tablets will neutralize and remove such poison. If you cannot eat without agony these tablets will show you how you can. If you will eat foolishly, or drink excessively, or if business demands abuse of stomach, these tablets after meals-will make such abuse light, for they take the hardship away from the stomach. They are great digesters, filled with more powerful agents than the system can give. They go back into the blood
after they have digested a meal, thereby Increasing the ability of nature to take care of digestion without exhausting other organs. i High livers need feel no considerable hardship if they will eat one of these little tablets after a rich or late meal. ' It is a splendid gift to the stomach
and a good habit to form. Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets sell for 50c per package at every drug store. Send .us your name and address and : we will send you a trial package by mail free. Address F. A. Stuart Co., 150 Stuart Bldg., Marshall, Mich,

Take Up Residence Near the Asylum.
Fishkill Landing, N. Y., Nov. 13. Mrs. William Thaw., mother of Harry K. Thaw and her daughter Alice, who was the Countess of Yarmouth, have arrived at Matteawan and a short time later it became known that Mrs. Thaw and her daughter had decided to make their home for a while near the asylum for the criminal insane, where Harry Thaw is confined.
Hammond, Ind., Nov. 13. The attention of the state authorities will be called to the condition of the Lake County jail at Crown Point, whoso condition is so unsanitary that two prisoners are alleged to have become victims of tuberculosis as a result of confinement therein. Stanley Sulentich, of Gary, charged with embezzling $3,000, was incarcerated there in April. He weighed 180 pounds, and was brought into court today weighing 150 pounds, and was a physical wreck from tuberculosis. John Olga, confined, without trial, for seven months, in the Crown Point jail, also has tuberculosis. The conditions in the jail have involved the officials in a scandal, people are demanding an investigation, asking why Sulentich and Olga were kept within the confines of a tuberculosis breeding place for sev en months without being granted a trial. i
