READY TO MEET; JACKS 0N CONTEST Attorney General Bingham Also Has a Few Reports Of Irregularities.
MONEY IS FREELY USED. BINGHAM IS OF OPINION JACKSON DID NOT KNOW OF THE BREWERS' ACTIONS DURING LAST WEEK'S BATTLE. Indianapolis, Nov. 10. Concerning the threatened contest of the election by democratic state candidates who have been defeated in the recent election, Attorney General Bingham, reelected, declares that the republicans are ready to meet any kind of an issue that may arise. Mrr Bingham states that reports of Irregularities come from everywhere. The statement made by Democratic Chairman Jackson that a contest would be instituted brought some remarks from Mr. Bingham about the slate chairman. Ready to Meet Issues. "If Mr. Jackson thinks it is well to go into a contest of an election that has been dominated by the brewers, we can certainly afford to meet the issues. We have received reports of crookedness from everywhere. In one place thirty men voted from one house and not one of those men can be found now. Money was also freely used. In my opinion Mr. Jackson didn't have anything to do with this campaign; it was dominated by the brewers and that he is not advised what his brewer frtends have been doing." Concerning the question as to whether or not the litigation against the five brewing companies now in the county courts will proceed Mr. Bingham said that it would. "I do not think the question of the brewers obeying the law was in the campaign,' said he, "and the suits that are already started will continue." Seven Years of Proof. "I have had seven years of proof that Dr. King's New Discovery is the best medicine to take for coughs and oolds and for every diseased condition of throat, chest or lungs," says W. V. Henry, of Panama, Mo. The world has had thirty-eight years of proof that Dr. King's New Discovery is the best remedy for coughs and colds, la grippe, asthma, hay fever, bronchitis, hemorrhage of the lungs, and the early stages of consumption. Its timely use always prevents the development of pneumonia. Sold under guarantee at A. G. Luken & Co. drug store. 50c. and $1.00. Trial bottle free. ECONOMY, IND. Economy, Ind., Nov. 10. If a person eats what is sufficient for his bodily requirements he will give the blood plenty of strength to warm the remotest points of the body. It is, as you see, much more a question of blood than of heavy clothing, but the stomach and bowels, nevertheless, regulate tha quality of the blood. Of first importance is th dally movement of the bowels, so that the waste matter may be carried from the system and not get in tlie blood. If a person has less than one movement of the bowols in each 24 hours, he or she is constipated. It constipated there is no better cure than Dr. Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin. IT IS CREATING A WONDERFUL STIR HERE. People all over the town are talking about the wonderful gool Root Juice is doing in this community, as it has made many remarkable cures during the past few months. A well known lady who for social reasons does not want her name published, said: "I had been in poor health for several years. The doctors gave me medicine for catarrh of the stomach, gastric ulcers, indigestion, dyspepsia, and stomach troubles generally, but I derived no benefit My appetite was variable sometimes hungry as a wolf, then sickening at the mere thought of food. I was subject to dizzy spells and sick headache. I was thin, weak, despondent and nervous, and had to take some kind of medicine all the time on account of my badly constipated condition, A lady friend told me that she had suffered very much as I did, but that Root Juice had completely cured her, so I concluded to try it, and before I had used the first bottle, I was rapidly improving in every way. I continued taking the truly great medicine about six weeks, and if there Is anything tho matter with me now I don't know it I now enjoy my food and digest It. I sleep well. I am no longer constipated, weak or nervous ,and have plenty of flesh and strength." Such good reports of the great medicine are being heard all over town. MORSE IS BANKRUPT Swears He Has Not Enough Money or Securities to Pay Debts. PLEA COMES AS A SURPRISE New York, Nov. 10. Charles W. Morse who, two years ago, was rated as being worth upward of $20,000, swore under oath that he had not enough money or securities left from his vast fortune to pay his debts. This revelation was made when Morse's attorneys appeared in the United States Circuit Court of Appeals to argue for the admission of Morse to bail. Morse, who has been sentenced to fifteen years' imprisonment at hard labor in the Federal Prison at Atlanta, Ga., was not permitted to leave the Tombs Prison when the motion to show cause why he should not be admitted to bail was argued, but an atfidavit made by him was read. The motion was argued before Judges Lacombe, Ward; and Coxe, and decision was reserved. It nad not been expected that Morse would make the plea that he was bankrupt.
