People of Liberty Interested in Extension of Traction Line.
OFFICIALS IN THAT CITY.
Liberty, Ind., June 5. The lagging enthusiasm of Liberty people interested In the extension of the C, C. & I. traction line from Connersville to Hamilton via this city, was greatly aroused yesterday when three bis touring cars, bearing President Chas. Henry and a party of stockholders in the company, stopped over here in a tour of inspection of the proposed right of way. The party, besides President Henry contained ex-Governor V. T. Durbin, of Anderson; F. C. Ball, (3eo. E. Ball, Ed. B. Ball, .1. M. War
ing, T. F. Rose, J no. Breichen and Richard Clayton, of Muncie; Wni. Frazer, Claude Camberne, J. W. Morel, of Rushville, and M. L. Cockereil, of Dayton, Ohio. They spent three hours in this city, taking dinner at the New Corrington hotel, and then proceeded on their way to Hamilton byway of College Corner and Oxford. Local parties interested in the building of this road feel very much encouraged by this visit from the capitalists owning the stock and as Mr. Henry has stated, that only when the road is connected between Connersville and Hamilton will It become a paying property. Prospects for building the connecting link look very bright. The party intimated that construction work would begin in a short while, as negotiations were pending for financing the proposition, and on their successful termination work would begin immediately.

Beautiful tributes were paid the departed for lovely character and there were many floral offerings. The interment was in the Callaway lot in West Side cemetery.
