The Gentry Bros. Famous Shows which exhibit here tomorrow, arrived here early this morning and at once went, to the show grounds, across from (ilen Miller park, w.hto t ho mum mot!) white tents are beias erected. In accordance with their invariable custom, the mananemcnt will throw open its magnificent monster menagerie free to the public from 2 till 4 o'clock in the afternoon, when the animal actors will hold a reception to whici they invite all their friends, particularly the ladies and children. Sunday is wash day, and each member of the menagerie is trimmed up for the cominc week, this interesting performance is a distinct novelty to most people, comparatively lew having seen the inside of such an organization as that carried by t ie Gentry Bros. Kvery animal will be thoroughly overhauled, anil the cleaning; process is a jAieat novelty to the spectators, who have little idea of the work entailed itf looking after such a 1111111-eroii-i family as the Gentry Bros, have on their hands. During the reception the children will be at liberty to romp and play with the cute littlo Shetland potties, who enjoy the fun as much as sheet -bars are beinn offered in Liverpool for considerably less than they can bo bought in Germany.
their Kuests. they can visit with Mr. and Mrs. Snyder, whose picture ;tppears ahovi' and see I lit; sacred Indian water buffalo just imported into this eotmrr. There will be plenty of courteous attendants on hand to show vi.-hois the animals, explain their habits and give any intoniiauon desired resardinK them. They will be able to renew 1'ieir acquaintance with the ponderoua elepiiHUt. a photograph of these performers is seen in the cut at the head of this article, these are the famous Gentry elephants, the highest educated pachyderm actors in ihe world, four of whom form the elephant quartet, playing different instruments with ihe ability of the average human being. Monday at 10 a. m. the grand free street parade will lake place. If all reports are true. Gentry has the best parade of his long career as a showman. Ktnbracing more animals, more features, and more high clasp acts than ever before. Everything this year is entirely new, except the nunagHiie. The snow while pavilion with a seating capacity of ."i.ooh has been specially made for them this season, the wagons, chariots and various equipages used in the parade, and perform

Mr. Gentry Knows what the public likes and mak.es if a point to satisfy it and to this he attributes his remarkable success as a showman for he past tweutv years. With the Gentry shows this year aro a pair of water buffalo from the river Ganges India, these animals are regarded as sacred by the Brahmins, and as far as is known are the only two genuine specimens now being exhibited to the public by any tented show, the Gentry Bros, it is rumored are indebted to the Mahra.iah of Put -tiala for the gift. His Royal Highness having been their guest some five years aRO when making; a tour of this country incognito. They make one additional feature to a show full of merit.
