Is Your Kitchen Clean? Greasy floors and oilcloths can only be cleaned properly by the use of pure soap. The cheap yellow kind which is filled with rosin, only makes a scum over the dirt. Easy Task is different, because it is made from borax, cocoanut oil and tallow. It dissolves the dirt and leaves everything sweet, and it. costs 5c.
The "automobile stare" is becoming noticeable in New York city. It is the vacant, faraway, apparently unobserving look that conies into the fare of a chauffeur when be crosses streets regardless of the pedestrians, turns the wrong corner or guides and speeds his vehicle regardless of the rights of ot hers.

for whipping them and driving them from I hi" state was dismissed by Judge Walter Evans in the federal court. Ten jurors favored damages as high as sh.mm o. Judge Evans called a special term of court for May 11 to again try these cases. He said it was imperative that, there he some decisive action against night riding in Kentucky. The report that Brigadier General Roger I. WHiams is to invade Trigg county probably is erroneous. However, it is reported on good authority that General Williams is thinking of surrounding the county. In order to do this he would have to enter the stale of Tennessee, which he could not do without permission from that state. Military officers say the Pineville company is not bound for Trigg, but is going .to Mt. Sterling to do duty in the burley district.

Denver, Colo., April 25. William D. Hajwwid, for many years secretarytreasurer of the Western Federation of Miners, has been ousted from the executive board of that organization. The announcement is made in a statement published in the official organ of the federation. This means that Haywood is no Ion per in the employ of ihe Federation, even as an organizer, which position he has held since last December. Shortly after Haywood's acquittal in Boise. Idaho, on the charge of complicity in the murder of former Governor Steunenburg, he was shorn of power as one of the officers of the
federation. For some time he has been in the East lecturing on socialism, soliciting membership for the federation. He was paid for his work as a solicitor, but was not supposed to spread the socialist propaganda. It is apparent that Haywood's activity in that capacity has not met with the approval of the Executive Hoard of the organization. Mr. Haywood, when seen by an Enquire representative last night in regard to the above dispatch, expressed no surprise, stating lie was entirely indifferent in the matter and that be proposed to acquiesce without protest in whatever action the executive board has taken, or may take, in regard to his office and -position.
