Aufderheide entertained, last evening with a handsomely appointed bridal dinner at iheir spacious home on North Meridian street in honor of their daughter, Miss May Aufderheide, and Mr. Thomas Millikan Kaufman of Richmond, whose marriage takes place tomorrow evening. The floral appointments for the dinner were carried out in lavender, the wedding color. The long table was set with its dinner service of silver and cut glass and for the centerpiece was a huge basket filled wit It lavender sweet peas. At each place were individual silver candleholders lighted with the lavender tapers and capped with violet flower shades. The name cards were hand painted in sweet ieas and the favors for the young women were corsage bouquets of lavender sweet peas and for the men were boutoniercs of the sweet peas. The ices and cakes were decorated with clusters of the peas. The bride presented her attendants with wedding gifts of hand-wrought jeweled rings, set with pearls, rubies and amethyst. At, the conclusion of the dinner the silver loving cup was passed and the guests drank to the health of the bride and bridegroom-to-be. The. guests seated with Mr. and Mrs. Aufderheide, Miss Aufderheide and Mr. Kaufman, were Miss Charlotte Dunn of Rochester. X.
