Alienists Who Have Examined And Observed His Actions Say So.

RELATIVES ARE A BOTHER.

IT WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE TO DETERMINE STATE OF MAN'S MIND UNTIL THEY QUIT COUNCILING HIM IT IS ASSERTED.

New York, Feb. 25. According to reports received here, Harry Kendall Thaw is believed now to be hopelessly insane. It is declared that alienists who have examined and observed him sii.ee he was committed to Matteawan Crlu'inal Insane asylum are convinced that he is a paranoias, and as paranoia is a progressive disease, it would appear that nothing short of a miracle can intervene to secure his freedom. In the present state of Thaw"s case h5.s future is entirely in the hands of the state board of lunacy and the staff of alienists in Mattearwan. Custom provides that when a man is committed to the state hospital for the criminal insane the doctors there shall observe him for GO days and then make a report upon his mental condition if they see fit. Dr. Ferris, head of the state board of lunacy, on whose judgment Thaw's chances of liberty largely depend, and who was one of the alienists engaged by District Attorney Jerome to testify in the first trial of the young Pittsburg millionaire for the killing of Stanford "White, said today: "No one can tell whether Harry Thaw is sane or insane until relatives and counsel quit visiting and advising

him. I called on Mr. Thaw once, three weeks ago. About all I could get from him was that by advice of counsel he was compelled to refuse to answer questions. I have not been near him since. "If Thaw's relatives and lawyers would let him alone for a while. Superintendent Lamb might be able to dlerruine for himself the patient's exact mental condition. That would do much toward determining how long Thaw is to be Incarcerated in Matteav aii. 1 have no intention of visiting Tlaw again, for a while at least. He i- in the care of Dr. Lamb and that of-h-iai must ultimately decide Thaw's state of mind. "I have at no time given an opinion that Thaw is insane," addf t Dr. Ferris.

Simple Oil of Wintergreen Cures Eczema and Drives Out Old -Fogy Treatment. If you were to hack your finger or scald your arm, you would apply some healing remedy as soon as possible, wouldn't you? That would be good common sense

and it would bring the quickest relief. You surely would never thlnn of drinking medicine or doctoring the blood to cure a surface affliction. It's just the same principle with diseases of the skin. Eczema, psoriasis, salt rheum and barber's itch can be cured and cured easily if you strike right at the trouble as you do with a cut or burn. The cause of Itching, burning skin diseases according to modern science, is a germ which feeds upon the weaker parts of the skin. To kill these skin bacilli which produce the itching sores and ugly red blotches, use the famous prescription of oil of wintergreen, glycerine and thymol, commonly known as D. D. D. Prescri ption.

This mild liquid was advocated by a prominent skin specialist, Dr. Dennis j

of Chicago, long before it was adopted generally. This liquid is called D. D. D. Prescription. It is a positive specific for all skin diseases. Don't dose the stomach, dure the ekin through the skin. We know D. D. D. and vouch for it. Call at any drug store and get a booklet on skin diseases free.
