. L E ILIFF DIES Heroic Fight for Restoration Of Health Was Unsuccessful. WAS ESTIMABLE WOMAN. Death at J o'clock this morning called from earth Mrs. Lewis K. Iliff. wift' of one of tho proprietors of the Arlington hotel, and who had been j sick for months at her apartments in ! the hotel. Mrs. Iliff had made a hero-. i ie struggle to regain her health and had lived far beyond the time that i her relatives raid friends had dared to ; hope for, due to her determination and wonderful rower of endurance. ; Mrs. Iliff was well and f.uorably known. She formerly was Miss Gertrnde Lincoln, the family having re siled in Kicnmond lor many years. She was married to Mr. Iliff a number of ve:i--s aro ;-nd is survived by the husband and two little daughters, Mary and Martha. Death of Mrs. Iliff at this untimely age will be a matter of deep regret to a wide circle of friends w ho held her in high esteem. The body was removed from the hotel to the home of Saul Davis, V, South Fifth street, from which place the funeral will be held Thursday aft- ( rnoon at 2 o'clock.
