Montgomery, Ala., Dec. 21 T. If. Thompson, an old man of Colbert county, is a party to a complicated martial controversy, in which two women and one man other than himself are concerned. He married some weeks ago wife number 0. Shortly afterwards they became dissatisfied. He then told her that he was not legally married to her. that his second wife was yet living, and that he had never been divorced. A charge of bigamy was then brought against him. Investigation, however, proved that wife number two had a husband when she married Thompson, hence that alliance was not . legal. Wife number one being dead the third marriage was therefore lawful. As a result the last wife has brought suit for support. Thompson is 75 years old.
