This event will be held some time the latter part of January. Col. Wiley, who has the affair in charge, states that Lie date has not yet been definitely decided on. but that the supper will be "bigger and better than ever." Nelson White of Bethel, is also taking an active interest in the affair. He already has two possums "in training" but he , wants more of them to grace the festive board. Mr. White requests that anyone who has or can get a possum to inform him. The proceeds of this sunner will be devoted to decorating soldiers graves on Decoration day. OTTERBEIN COLLEGE ACCEPTSJCHALLENGE Will Debate Earlham Lassies Sometime in February. A NUMBER OF CANDIDATES. Word has been received from Otterbein College near Columbus, O., saying that the college would accept the challenge for a debate with the Earlham girls. It will be held the latter part of February and the question will be, "Resolved, that there should be an educational test for immigrants." The team from Earlham will be chosen from a large field of candidates. BASEBALL DANCE TO BE ON JCEMBER 18 Preparations for the Event Are Now Under Way. PROMISES TO BE BIG EVENT On the evening of December 18, the Richmond Amusement company will j give a dance at the Coliseum. Mem-' hers of the Amusement company cor-; dially invito all the baseball fans of i the city with their wives, sisters or sweethearts to attend this affair which promises to be a big event. The money derived from this dance will be returned to the fans in an accepta ble manner it will all be used in im proving the baseball plant at Athletic park and putting u fast, team inthe field next season.
