Georgetown, Ky., Nov. 29. After more than tvo weens' labor, during which more than 400 men from two counties were examined, a jury was completed to try Caleb Powers for complicity in the murder of Senator William Goebel. The jurors are divided as follows: Four republicans, four democrats and four men who say they are independent in politics. As a matter of fact there are probably six republicans and six democrats, if it came to a finel test.
The jurors are: J. L.. Price, independent, farmer. J. W. Renaker, , democrat, farmer. G. B. Shinkle, .30, republican, farmer. J. C. Linden, 3.", republican, painter. A. B. Jewett, 40, democrat, farmer. B. S. Franks, 35, banker, independent. James O'Hara, H druggist, inde-
j pendent.
E. J. Marshall, S3, democrat, farmer. O. P. Collier, 45, republican, farmer. Frank Lee, 40, independent, farmer. E. J. Race, 30, democrat, farmer. Thomas Robinson, 25, republican, farmer. (Can not read.) The taking of testimony will begin today if the attorneys on each side finish their statements of the case. Robert Franklin, commonwealth's attorney, will present the commonwealth's side, while Maj. W. C. Owens will tell what the defense expects to prove. Powers will be a witness for himself early in the action. Henry Youtsey will probably be brought from the Frankfort penitentiary today to testify for the prosecution.
