A Voice From The Stomach
& Bloodless Fight Between a Tablet and a Habit The Tablet Wins. At the age of 22 Clarence had a good digestion. lie had gastric juice that could dissolve doughnuts and turn appleskins into good blood corpuscles. At the age of 24 he began to be profuse about the waist and lean backwards. He also began to cultivate several chins. In his new-found pride he began to think it his duty to gorjo liiinself on everything, the good and the bad, for appetite feeds on appetite and every good thing i3 abused. His pictures showed that he took on Weight after he put his collar on. At the age of 20 Clarence married find went to boarding. On top of all this, he attended oyster suppers and tvlne dinners, which reduced the size of his collar from 16& to 15. With Rtill abiding faith in the strength of bis stomach he gulped his meals and chewed them afterwards. At the uge of 2S! Clarence began to hear an inward voice a warning from th stomach. After each meal, he would feel bloated and belching became a habit. He began to be a light eater and a heavy thinker. He tried to think out a, cure, for now he would sit down at his meals absolutely disgusted at the thought or sight of anything to eat. Ho would sit down at his meals without the trace of an appetite, just because It waa time to cat. He would often feci a gnawing, unfcatisfied "still-hungry" feeling in his atomach, even after he was through eating, whether his meal was woil cooked or not. And he suffered a good many other things witr his stomach that he could not explain, but that made his gruchy, miserable, out-o'-sorts, and generally sour on everybody and everything. Finally he jvad au account something like this, about the truly wonderful results obtained from Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets In all cases of stomach trouble, dyspepnia and so on. He bought a .Vkj box at the drug store, and took the whole box. When he started, he had little faithand less appetite. When he finished he had absolute faith and more appetite, and more good cheer. Thing" began to tasto different and better to him. Now he has no more dyspepsia, no more Indigestion, no more loss of appetite, brash, irritation, burning sensation, heartburn, nausea, eructations, bad memory, or loss of vim and vigor. Remember," one ingredient of Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets will digest for you .'UK grains of food, just as it did for Clarence. This relieves your stomach of the work of digesting until your stomach can get. strong and hou.lthy again. Your stomach has been overworked and abused. It's fagged out. It needs a rest. Ixt Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets do the work of your stomach. .You will ho surprised how fine you'll feel after eating, and how lusciously good everything will taste to you. Heed the call of the stomach now! There's a world of pood cheer in one box of Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets at any drug store, 5e. GREAT INTEREST III LOCAL PRODUCTION
"School for Scandal" Promises to Prove a Big Success in Every Way.
IT IS ALL HOME TALENT.
THE REHEARSALS THUS FAR DENOTE THAT SHERIDAN'S DELIGHTFUL COMEDY COULD NOT BE IN MORE CAPABLE HANDS.
It is quite proable that never before in the history of home talent dramatic effort in Richmond has interest been so pronounced in connection with a contemplated production as is just now being shown with reference to the presentation of "School for Scandal" on the evenings of December 12 and 1", at the Oennett theatre. With a cast numbering a dozen of Richmond'.-; most talented men and women there is reason for a display of interest, and when it is considered that this company of very capable persons will present one of the most delightful plays, one which has retained all of its original popularity after more than a century, there could not be other than interest of an enthusiastic sort. "School for Scandal" is not often attempted by home talent for the very good reason that it requires histrionical ability of a very hig order. Fortunately Richmond's dramatic club is not wanting in this particular, individually or collectively, and the rehearsals thus far denote that Sheridan's delightful comedy could not be in more capable hands, not even expecting a company of professionals. There has been a painstaking study of the play by the company and a remarkably clear conception of the requirements of a faithful interpretation of the characters exists. One Richmond literary club has taken up the story for perusal and study as a preparation for witnessing its production. Special attention is to be given the staging of the play, and costuming, and the settings for the various scenes are to be as nearly historically correct as possible. All in all. there is reason to expect that the audiences which gather in the Gennett on the evenings of December 12 and 1.1 are to be both surprised and delighted at the finished picture that will be presented.

cos famous play, "Sweet Kitty Bellairs," this (Friday) e verging, at the Gennett. Certain general qualities of the entertainment have been disclosed in ad
vance. It is thus known was that of the French
wars, and that the action occurred chiefly at Bath, then the centre of English frivolity, the scene of innumerable flirtations and the social kingdom in which half a dozen beaux and belles ruled in turn. Kitty Bellairs arrives in Bath shortly after the reign of Beaux Nash, and the play therefore presents a picture like those of Gains sborough beautified by bright feminine costumes, of
