RAS BOUGHT LAND HEAR SANFORD, FLA. Dr. C. M. Hamilton Is Pleased With Florida.
SON IS TO REMAIN THERE.
Dr. C M. Hamilton, who has been in the South for a week, has returned and reports that he is delighted with the climate and general conditions in Florida. While in that state he purchased a tract of land just one mile from the town of Sanford, which is a bou I twenty-fire miles from the Atlantic coast. The land is unusually valuable here as it is particularly well adapted to growing celery, onions, cauliflower, lettuce and other products that are grown in mid-winter and sent to the northern markets. These products are sold by commission men in the eastern market and bring high prices. As shipping facilities are good and colored labor cheap, many northern men are availing themselves of this land and are making good profits. Edgar Hamilton, son of Dr. Hamilton, will have charge of the tract.
