Pleasant Social Event a tthe Home of Mrs. Albert E. Williams. Milton. Ind., Nov. 22. A large card party was given to ladies at the home of Mrs. Albert E. Williams Wednesday afternoon. The winners of the prizes were: First, a Japanese vase to Mrs. Wm. Wallace; all cut prize !o Mrs. Frank Florea; ' booby' prize, salt and pepper set in form of lemons, Mrs. Hirum Crook. The assisting hostesses were Mesdames Paul Caldwell, Elbert Caldwell and Frank R. Williams. In the evening Mr. and Mrs. Villiams were surprised by a number of neighbors who came in on them and had an oyster supper. HELP FOR MISS CHRIS. Friends of Injured Young Woman Active in Her Behalf. Cambridge City, Ind., Nov. 22 The friends of Miss Francis Chris, who had her right arm broken by a fall at the roller rink last Tuesday night, are circulating a subscription paper asking for money to help defray the expense Incurred by the injury. Miss Chris is an estimable young woman and worthy of assistance, as she is employed at the Bartel garment factory, her salary being her only income, and that will now be cut off as she is unable to work. Milton, Ind., Nov. 22. Milton peopie and the residents of the community are invited to attend the Thanksgiving service at the M. E. church at 10:30 Thanksgiving day. It will close in ample time for the big dinner at Kinsey's hall. The pastor, Rev. J. T. Scull, Sr., will deliver the sermon. TWO WILL BE INITIATED. Visitors Expected at Cambridge City From Richmond. New Paris, O., Nov. 22. The Rebekah lodge is preparing to have a special meeting next Monday night at which two candidates will be initiated. A number of visitors from Richmond lodge is expected. WITNESSES IN KEPLER CASE. Fountain City, Ind., Nov. 22. Chief of Police Bailey of Richmond served summonses on the following as witnesses in the Kepler case at Richmond. Those summoned were J. D. Williams, Oliver Marine, Peter Cutler, G. A. Dwiggins, Lafayette Harrison, F. M. Lamb, C. C. Fulghum, L. O. Anderson and wife, C. E. Keever and wife, Maurice Clark and wife, W. A.
