Cambridge City, Ind., Oct.. 29 The citizeny of Cambridge City are rejoicing today on the acquisition of a newfa etory which promises to become the best industry the town has ever had. For some time past the Merchants' Association of the town has been negotiating for the acquisition of the Scott National Radiator company, of Marion, Ind., a concern which has been putting out a hard coal base burner stove possessing radiating powers hitherto unattained by any other stove on the market. Yesterday its efforts were crowned with success and the location of the plant at this place is now assured. The stockholders of the old company together with the now subscribers to stoc k met hero yesterday and effected the following organization: Directors Ehvood Scott and Dennis Ilaisley of Marion, 0. II. Graver and R W. Marson of Cambridge City and 15. F. Wissler of Richmond. OPieeiv Flwood Scott, president; Dennirf Haisley, vice-president; C. II. f? raver, cr?ttrry; 15. F. Wissler, treasurer and business manager. The name of the comnany wan changed to "The Scott Stove and Furnace Co." The renina nv is capitalized at S.Vt,nOO and its stock is nearly a'A sold. "Work will hoirin at once on the construction of suitable buildings and the Installation of modern up-to-date eriuipments. It is expected that the plant will begin operation early in the spring. As the comnany holds patents for a well developed and thoroughly tried new system of radiation, as applicable to stoves and furnaces, it is confidently expected tht tN nroducts of this roinnany will revolutionize the stove business of the country. be secured in Henry county, the defendant has asked for a change of venue and the case has been sent to the Rush circuit court.

Straughn, Ind., Oet. 29. The Straughn Christian church has been remodeled and will be rededicated Nov. 3rd. The pastor, the Rev. 0. W. Heoffer of Richmond will be assisted by two or three other ministers. All visitors will be given a welcome both by the pastor and the members.

The divorce case of Mrs. HeatherIngton has alio been sent out of the county for trial. A change of venue was taken to the Hancock circuit court on the same grounds that -the damage suit was venued. Sensational charges are made in the complaint of Heatherington for damages, and the trial of the case in this court would have seen a large attendance of the curious.
