GROWING GIRLS NEED PINK PILLS the Tonic Necessary for Their Proper Development and to Insure a Healthful and Happy Life Read This , Statement of an Iowa Woman. fhere is a form of anaemia, or bloodlessness, that often afflicts growing girls, that has been called the anaemia of development. It requires care and proper attention as neglect may cause a life of tinhappiness and suffering. There is also danger of consumption, especially if a dry, hacking cough is noticed. The disease is in the blood and Dr. Williams' Pink Pilla are particularly well adapted to cure it. We hare yet to hear of a case in which these blood-making pills have been tried without success. Miss Esther E. Durbin, of 2121-2 Main street, Davenport, Iowa, Kays : 'When I was a school girl I became afflicted with anaemia and grew so weak that I could scarcely walk. There was a craving for starch and I ate a great deal of it. I was pale and thin, had no ambition and was subject to hysterical attacks. My breath was so short that I would have to sit down and rest on the way up the school steps. I would fall asleep during a'reeitation in spite of my efforts to keep awake and at last had to give up going to school. "Sometimes it seemed as if my heart would ump out of my body. Almost everything I ate hurt my stomach and I had a bladder trouble that caused me to bloat and puff up. I had two doctors during the two years before I began using Dr. Williams' Pink Pills and at last they told my mother that they could do nothing for me. "Onr druggist recommended Dr. Williams' Pink Pills and when I had taken them about three weeks I noticed a change for the better. Altogether I used them for about a year and they gave me new life and health when every other means had failed. . I have recommended the pills to many others and am always glad to do so." Dr. Williams' Pink Pills are sold by all druggists, or sent, postpaid, on receipt of price, 60 cents per box ; six boxes for $2.60, by the Dr. Williams Medicine Company, Schenectady, N, Y,

for the democratic gubernatorial nomination. One or the other of them is expected to have something to say to the public within a very few days. IT it is Judge Erwin the chances are that he will announce himself a candidate for the gubernatorial nomination. Congressman Adair is already in tae race, so if he says anything it will very likely take the form of a withdrawal. Judge Erwin and Congressman Adair are old-time political friends who have been fighting republicans from the same breastworks in the Eighth for nearly twenty-five years. It is understood their relations are so cordial that they would not be found as opponents in a contest of such importance as a nomination for governor.

As a result of these sensations the stock market was halting and irregular, but there was an apparent feeling that the break of the attempted corner in United Copper had cleared the atmosphere somewhat and the market rallied before the close. The Heinze firm announced that it is perfectly solvent and that all its legal obligations will be met. William B. Ridgely, at present "United States controller of the currency, has been tendered the office of president of the Mercantile National bank but has not yet decided whether or not he will accept.

These interests are closely identified with A. Heinze in his copper mining operations. Heinze is the largest stockholder and a director in the State Savings bank, which has deposits of about $4,250,000. The State of Montana is a depositor to the extent of $75,000, but is amply secured.
