The Georgia Minstrels, which is one of the big shows with the great Parker shows, is perhaps the most successful real negro minstrel organization ever put on the road. It Is made up completely of negro performers., most of them from the Southern states who are original in all they do and say. The company consists of twenty performers, among them being the best that could be obtained from every source, vaudeville, parks and other places where these performers work. Their show is given in one of the Parker tents with a handsomely carved white and gilded front and opera chairs are furnished for the convenience of the patrons. The show opens with an olio consisting of all of the performers and including all the latest jokes, songs and dances known to modern minstreldom. The olio lasts fifteen minutes and the audience is kept roaring at the fun during the entire time. Following the olio comes a comedy ctotrh hv two of the nerformers a man and a woman, direct from one of the big vaudeville circuits, where they have been appearing for some time past in the same sketch with great success. After this number comes a monologue interspersed with song and acrobatic dances by one of the cleverest negro dancers on the stage. This number alone is worth the price of admission, and the audience applaud the perfroraer to the echo. The show closes with a roaring burlesque in which all of the performers join to the Immense enjoyment of tne audience. The Georgia Minstrels will be here during the entire carnival week with the Great Parker shows and all indications promise that it will be one of the most liberally patronized shows on the EAGLES' CARNIVAL. tew 1 1 V i' 41! Aug. 30. will be "A Holiday at T-E Ranch" in which the pleasures and amusements of the plainsmen and early settlers of the middle west will be correctly illustrated. Yll objects from the ground while their bronchos are at full gallop, and per forming numerous other tricks known and accomplished by the cowboy of the prairies. In the same scene will be introduced the only troupe of trained bronchos and mustangs ever presented in public. Ray Thompson has achieved the hitherto impossible feat of educating the Western horse, training him to perform the various "high school" tricks of the thoroughbred circus horse and accomplishing feats which it has never been presum ed these lineal descendants of the wild horse were capable of being In structed in. As a culminating feature of their performance one of the horses jumps over a table at which is seated a party of diners. While these scenes of revelry are being enacted, Indians are noticed to be steadily approaching and soon they make a murderous attack upon the ranch house and the pleasure party and the scene of revelry is quickly changed to one of relentless combat.
