Up to this season' it has been the custom of eastern yachtsmen to unload
their old craft on the New York market, but this year, now that the spring rush for yachts is on, conditions appear to be changed, and the local boats are being sent to Boston

The average amn cannot afford to employ a physician for every slight ailment or injury that may occur in his family, nor can he afford to neglect them, as so slight an injury as the scratch of a pin has been known to cause the loss of a limb. Hence every man must from necessity be his own doctor for this class of ailments. Success often depends upon prompt treatment, which can only be had when suitable medicines are kept at hand. for those who have not yet seen the
vaudeville bill at the New Phillips to do so, as four performances remain. They include the performances of tonight, the special matinee for children on Saturday and the double performance of Saturday night. Much has already been said about this week's bill so that it is only necessary again to call attention to the fact that it has proven highly satisfactory to New Phillips patrons. The State Board of Education in session Thursday at Indianapolis, adopted a uniform course of study for the commissioned high schools of the state to conform to the new law. Practically no changes were made however, in the course as it existed prior to the enactment of law, the law calling for only a few minor changes. The course has not been entirely completed. It will be sent out to the high school principals within the next two or three weeks. The
board will hold another meeting next Friday for the purpose of finishing up the work that was not completed. After spending the entire day in discussing reports submitted by the committees which visited the various normal schools of the State that are desirous of getting places on the accredited list of teachers' training schools under the new law the board adjourned. The placing of the schools on the list was left to a special committee. This committee will report a method of accrediting the schools at the meeting next Friday. Some of the normal schools, according to the reports of the visiting committees, can be placed on the accredited list in some departments, while they can not be so placed in others.
