CLERKS HAVE VISIONS OF SOMEJHARD - WORK Burdens of Postoffice Employes Will Be Increased.

MUST WEIGH THE MAILS. Clerks at the local postoffice are not ftjoking forward to July 1st with any degree of pleasure, notwithstanding that on that date their salary increase will take effect. The cause for their apparent disgust is that beginning on that date, they will have to weigh all mail for six months. The clerks will not have as much trouble with the first and second dasse3 of mail, but will have plenty of work to do with the third and fourth classes. These two will involve more than all the rest. The weighing will continue through the holidays, and fpr this reason the task will be a huge one, especially at that time. All packages and parcels will have to be separated and placed in their class. It is understood that no additional help will be placed in the office during the weighing season. COLIC AND DIARRHOEA. Pains in the stomach, colic and diarrhoea are quickly relieved by the use of Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy. For sale by A. G. Luken & Co. MAIL WEIGHING FINISHED The Work Stopped Tuesday Night at Midnight. The government weighing of the mails stopped Tuesday night at midnight at the local Pennsylvania station and notwithstanding the fact that they will lose th-ir positions, the government weighers are glad the weighing is over as it has been a decidedly strenuous business for one hundred and five days. The weighers, will return to their homes at once. NEWS ROUTE FOR SALE. For sale, good Palladium newspaper route, splendid location. Add.ess X. Y.
