CARNIVAL TO BE ON FULL BLAST TONIGHT Officially Announced That All Shows Will Be Open.

It was announced this afternoon by officials of the Druids carnival that the attractions will be on full blast tonight and that everything is in good condition. The weather promises to be favorable. BAIN WAS TOO HEAVY Quigley and Babylon Did No,t Play. Team The Quigley and Babylon base ball team did not play at Muncie Sunday owing to the heavy rains which fell at that place. The local aggregation will cross bats with the Muncie Shamrocks June 16. Next Sunday the team wili go to Anderson where it will play the Anderson Navies. BIG FALLING OFF IN POSTOFFICE RECEIPTS They Reached a .Low Point During May. THE DROP REACHED $1,600. By far the lowest point tlie sales have reached at the local postoffice for the past year, was reached during the month of May. The sales of stamps, postcards and supplys dropped off wonderfully from some unknown reason, and the total receipts for the office were only $3,97S.4S, or $1,600 less than the receipts a year ago; $511.13 was sent to the subtreasury, in Cincinnati after' all local expenses had been paid. A VESPER CONCERT AT FIRST M. E. CHURCH. The Memorial vesper concert given by the chorus choir of the First M. E. church Sunday afternoon was one of the most successful and inspiring of the programs given by that organization. Many of the old veterans were present to honor the occasion, and the large auditorium was filled. The platform and choir-loft were tastefully decorated with several large flags. Deaths and Funerals. 1 mm HENLEY Charles V., the ' sixmonths old child of Mr. and Mrs. Harley Henley, died at the home of his parents, 712 North Fifteenth street Sunday morning at nine thirty o'clock. The funeral will be from the home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in Earlham cemetery. Friends may call any time. BARR Irene, wife of Hensy Barr, died at the home 224 South Tenth street this morning at the age of 4S years. The funeral will be from the A. M. E. church on South Sixth street Wednesday at 2 p. m.
