About our Richmond Export Beer is sufficient to convince any judge of beer that there is nothing better brewed. It takes but a trial to prove this. There is something about the manner in which the Richmond Export is brewed that makes it particularly delicious. If you enjoy good beer you will enjoy the Richmond Export jeer.

The American Flag association is reminding the American public that Friday, June 14, will be flag: day, the irth anniversary of the adoption of the stars and stripes as the flag: of tne United States. The flag association makes this appeal to the public in behalf of a patriotic observance of the day: "We respectively appeal to the governors of all the states of our land, and the mayor of each American city to herald the coming of the day in 1!X7, by proclamation; we call upon every public officer, every teacher of the youth of our land, the editors of all newspapers, the daily instructors of the youth of our land, to call public attention, to arouse enthusiasm and to provide for public exercises and general celebration of the day. "We earnestly exhort our citizens to join in making flag day an event, and its celebration in 3007, a great event. Let us. from one end of our land to the other, fling the stars and stripes to the breeze on June 14, 11X7. May it greet the rising and salute the setting sun and float all day long from every church edifice, school and building, public and private, and however humble, throughout the entire land."
ROOSEVELT MAY HEAD HARVARDUNIVERSITY Rumor That He Has Accepted The Presidency.
AN INCIDENT AT LANSING.
Lansing, Mich., June 1 What is regarded as more significant than anything else President Roosevelt said Friday during his stay in this city, is a brief sentence spoken in private conversation with a fellow alumnus of Harvard University. It is taken to mean that when he retires from the presidency of the United States, Mr. Roosevelt will become head of Harvard. The President was greeted by a number of old Harvard men and one of them tonight said the chief execu
tive remarked in speaking of his alma
mater:
"In one year and eleven months
expect to be an active member of the organization." In view of the persistent rumors several months ago that the President might become the guiding hand of Harvard when his present term of office expired, it is believed here that he has been offered and has accepted the position now held by President Eliot.
The ever increasing patronage with which we are favored, PROVES EMPHATICALLY that our business methods are HONEST, CONVENIENT, and CONFIDENTIAL and that OUR RATES ARE LOWER than can be had elsewhere in the city.
