She has taken as proteges four lively kittens several weeks old and hovers over them like they were little chickens, taking complete charge of them while the mother cat is away and dividing attention when she Is present with apparent friendliness.

Following this there were short addresses from the rour attending grand lodge officers. The new castle hall erected by Lynn Knights of Pythias is one of the finest in the smaller towns of the state. It was erected at a cost of $12,000. Lynn lodge, No. 11J. has altogether 1U1 members and is in a very prosperous condition. Thursday was the twentythird 'anniversary of the founding of the lodge.
