First Shipment to Indianapolis From New Albany District. New v Albany, Ind., May 24. The first shipment of home grown strawberries from the New Albany district, which is one of the most extensive strawberry growing districts in the country, has been sent to Indianapolis. Last year the first shipment was sent May 10. While the frost killed the first bloom on the strawberry vine3, there will be an average crop from the later bloom and it is expected that when the season reaches its height strawberries will be shipped by the train load from this point to Indianapolis and Chicago. Mrs. Kendall, the actress, is an ardent collector of tiny toys and miniature models of all sorts.
