The exerWises begin at 2:30 p. m. and will be in charge of the Grand lodge officers, the dedication being the first part of the sprogram, which will be followej by 'speeches intersperced by music. At aiight the third rank will be conferred Ion eight candidates, by Triumph lodge of Richmond. Twenty lodges have
been invited and a great day for Pythianism is anticipated. The exercises of the day are open to the public to Tvhich every one is cordially invited. GRADUATION SATURDAY Dudley Twp. Annual Event Takes Place May 25. rStraughn. Ind., May 21 The common school commencement of Dudley township will be held Saturday night the 2rth at Hopewell. The Hiatt family of Knightstown, will furnish the music. The graduates from Straughn school are: Misses Carrie Scott, Florence "Willis and Tressa Sharp: Messrs. Roy Gephart, Boyd Lamberson and Cecil Gilbsrt. At the Theaters Repertoire at the Phillips. The Desmond c mpany opened its final week's engagement at the New Phillips Monday night, presenting 'The Groat Diamond Robbery" and introducing in connection with it a. number of specialties. WATER WAS FROM OLD PUBLIC WELL AND IS SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN IMPURE ALL ARE NOW RECOVERING. New Paris, O., May 21 Saturday, the family of Agent Nelson, including Mr. Nelson himself, were taken violently ill after dinner. It is thought that it was due to poisoned germs in an old public well from which water was used for their dinner. They have all about recovered at tho present time. Eastern Indiana and Western Ohio Bought Grocery Stock. Jacksonburg Frank Hinson lias bought the grocery stock of Clifford Scates and moved it to his place. Delegates Elected. Hagerstown The Christian Sunday school elected as delegates to the Wayne County S. S. convention to be held at Economy May 23 and 24, Mrs. Edith Smith and Miss Mable Teetor, and Miss Nellie Brant and George Keagy as alternates. Decoration Day Exercises.
