as "Corn" Maize Was Unknown. Wheat is often referred to in the
Bible and other old literature in such terms as to leave no doubt of iis value in those days. .
"He maketh peace in thy borders
and filleth thee with the finest of the
wheat." Psalm CXLVII, verse 14.
"He should have fed them also with
the finest of the wheat." 81st Psalm, verse 10.
The "finest of the wheat" today is
Malta-Vita, in which the strength-giv
ing carbohydrates are predigested that is, converted into maltose ready for immediate absorption by the blood. Wheat has been since the earliest ages the natural food of mankind. Scientists class it as a "force producer" and prove it the only food grown which supplies every food element required from infancy to old r.ge. In this age of rapid eating, people do not thoroughly caew their food and thus mix it with saliva to convert its starch into maltose, ready for assimilation, as nature requires. This is done in Malta Vita by mixing pure malt extract with the cooked whole
wheat when the food is made. MaltaVita prevents and often cures stomach ills. For people of all ages it produces greater vigor of mind and body than any other food. Sold by all grocers.
