ORGAN CONTRACT MADE. New Pipe Organ for M. E. Church at Liberty to Be Installed July 10.
Liberty, Ind., April 25 The contract for the pipe organ for the M. ;E. church has been awarded to the organ factory at Moline, Illinois. The company agrees to place one of the best organs, considering the size, that has ever been made. It will be finished in dark quartered white oak and will have all the latest known improvements. They further agree to have the organ installed by July 10th. Some changes will have to be made in the choir loft of the church as the organ will occupy the arch-way in the south end.

Liberty, Ind., April '-25 This is the season of "the sweet girl graduate" in Union county as the closing of the school year is now at ' hand and the programs for the - commencement ex ercises for the District and country High schools are now being issued. The school at District No. 3, Brownsville township, closed Friday, April 19th, when the patrons of the school, to the number of one hundred and twenty, gathered with the proverbial well filled baskets and enjoyed a "surprise dinner" with the teacher and his pupils, after which the members of the school rendered a program of recitations and music. The Harrison township schools will hold , their nineteenth annual commencement at Hannah's Creek church next Tuesday, April SO, at 2 o'clock p. m. An excellent program has been arranged for these exercises, the essays of the graduates being interspersed with vocal and instrumental musical selections, with Dr. C. N. Sims to deliver the class address.
